Why meditate?

The physical and psychological benefits from regular meditation practice can be life-changing! Some of the reasons you should start today include: reducing stress & anxiety, boosting your immune system, increasing emotional intelligence, improving learning capacity, gaining a sense of connection to the Hoame community, practicing empathy, realizing your higher-self and reaching your full potential. Think of it as a way of unlocking your natural superpowers to live life lighter.

Is meditation for everyone?

Of course! We welcome meditators of all experience levels. Our instructors will guide you throughout the classes with various cues, visualizations, breathing styles, and gentle movements. First time meditating? No problem, give our Essentials class a try to learn the basics of meditation including breath and posture.

How do I select a class?

We make it easy for you. Choose if you’d like a guided meditation class or your own self practice (My Hoame), select the room you’d like to be in between Light or Dark, and the length of time you’re looking to meditate between 30 and 60 minutes. You can also check out our About page for more information on our instructors and their approach.

What should I wear to meditation?

We recommend anything you can comfortably sit or lay down in. Whether that is yoga pants, jeans, or a three piece suit is entirely up to you!

What can I expect in a class?

A welcome and warm environment where our teachers will guide you through the practice with gentle cues related to but not limited to your posture, breath, visualizations, thoughts, etc. You may be sitting on our meditation cushions or laying down at any point throughout the class. After your class we offer complimentary essential oil-scented towels and healthy elixir drink shots.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Just bring yourself and an open mind! We provide all cushions and props to make your session stress-free.

General

What is your studio etiquette?

Please arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes before your class or service. Upon arrival at our studio you will be greeted by our friendly front desk team who will check you in for your service or direct you to our self-serve tablet if your have already paid for your class.

Guests will be asked to remove their shoes at the front door and carry them back with them to store in our locker area.

We are a quiet space so we ask all guests to speak quietly with staff and other guests in all areas of the studio out of respect for classes and services in session.

Are devices allowed?

While we encourage all guests to completely unplug during their time with us cellphones are allowed to be used mindfully and respectfully in our living room area on silent mode. We do not permit laptops or tablets to be used in our studio and guest wifi is not available.

Before heading in for a salt cave session or a class devices of any kind must be locked up in your locker. Devices are permitted in the sauna as this is a private space.

What are your age restrictions?

Guests ages 17+ are welcome to attend any of our classes or services.

Guests ages 13-16 must be accompanied with a parent and may attend classes only at this time.

What are your refund and cancellation policies?

Refund and Cancellation Policy

We understand that things get busy and that you may have to cancel on us from time to time. Hoame is pleased to share the following refund and cancellation policy for our Products and Services.

Products
Customers who have purchased Products may return unused, unworn and unopened Products within 30 days for a full refund.

Gift Cards

All gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or surrendered as cash

Private Sessions

All private sessions organized by Hoame are final sale and cannot be refunded.

Classes

Customers who have registered for a Class may cancel such Class and be entitled for a full refund if they provide at least 12 hours notice of the cancellation prior to the commencement of the Class by phone or they have cancelled through their Mindbody account. If a customer does not provide at least 12 hours notice of a cancellation or does not attend the Class, they will not receive any refund.

If a customer is placed on a class waitlist and is not admitted to the class their class fee will be left on their account as a credit. Should a refund be requested within 7 days the customer will be refunded in full.

All sales of Meditation class passes, packs, and memberships are final sale and may not be returned or refunded.

Sauna/Salt Cave

Customers who have registered for a salt cave or sauna session may cancel such a service and be entitled to a full refund if they provide at least 12 hours notice of the cancellation prior to the commencement of the service by phone or have cancelled through their Mindbody account. If a customer does not provide at least 12 hours notice of a cancellation or does not attend the service, they will not receive any refund.

All sales of sauna or salt cave packs/passes are final sale and may not be returned or refunded.

Workshops and Events

Workshops and events are all final sale but upon request to Hoame staff may be transferred to another client if Hoame is provided with 24 hours notice.

If a customer is placed on a workshop or event waitlist and is not admitted to the class their fee will be left on their account as a credit. Should a refund be requested within 7 days the customer will be refunded in full.

In order to cancel a particular Service purchase, Class or Workshop, you must do so through your Hoame Mindbody account using the “cancel” feature on the Sites or call the studio to have a Hoame employee cancel on your behalf.
